At PRC of Tracy, we offer no cost lab-grade pregnancy tests. If your test is positive, we can provide you with a pregnancy verification signed by one of our nurses.
Pregnancy Test FAQ
How soon can I get an appointment?
As long as you have missed a period, we will try to schedule you as soon as possible. Many of our clients are pleased with how quickly we are able to schedule a pregnancy test appointment, but we cannot guarantee a same-day appointment.
Is the test a blood test?
Our pregnancy tests are lab-grade urine tests. You will be asked to provide a urine sample for the nurse to test.
Can I bring my kids or partner with me?
You are welcome to bring anyone with you. However, apart from small children, your guests will be asked to wait in the lobby while your advocate meets with you before your test.
Do I need insurance?
No, you do not need insurance. You will never be asked for an insurance card or payment for services. All costs are covered by our generous donors.
Will I be able to get an ultrasound?
In some cases, we will offer an ultrasound appointment but this cannot be determined until you meet with your advocate for a pregnancy test. If offered, the ultrasound appointment is a second appointment and does not take place at the time of the pregnancy test.
