First trimester limited ultrasound
If you are pregnant and considering an abortion, we generally recommend a first trimester ultrasound. An ultrasound will provide you with important information before you make your final pregnancy decision or move on to the next step of your decision.
While we do not perform, recommend or refer for abortions, we believe you have the right to make an informed pregnancy decision. An ultrasound can give you vital information about your pregnancy: how far along you are in pregnancy, whether the pregnancy is viable and the location of the pregnancy.
Our registered nurse will also take time to explain the information and your reproductive health.
The first step to getting an ultrasound is to schedule a pregnancy test appointment. At this appointment, your client advocate will determine if we are able to offer you a first trimester ultrasound before you make your plan forward.
